Iphone / Ipod Touch support? +1

I wonder if there is anything in the works like that for Artician? It would be a good way to promote the site and a good way to let mobile users be able to keep up with posts and such. I use my Ipod touch daily and it's apps feature for my favorite sites are really good. I think the Staff should look into making a App for the iphone and IpodTOUCH , I think it would help the site alot.

I was also thinking , is there any way that at some point you guys can add widgets , It would be neat to actually be able to display my Last.FM charts to where they fit in with the site design. I know it has nothing to do with art , but I listen to music 24/7 and it drives my art , plus it's always neat to see what people listen to as it opens a window into what they might have been thinking when working on pieces.

AIGU!

Small lesson .

Aigoo = Aw Man! ( usually in a face desk sort of way ) in Korean 아이구 ( common Hangul writing ). The Internet version is Aigu! which pretty much means "Oh my God!". I have a tendency to say it when I finally have given up. So today it's Aigu! Hwaiting! (Fighting! = Pretty much means , All Right! Let's go! ).

I think I might have found a art site that isn't riddled with drama after all these years. If you must know it has been 6 years since I joined dA , and 2 years since I formally left and stopped posting on it. I tried a couple of other sites for a bit ( mainly being Shadowness , ArtUprorar , GFX Artist , etc.... ) and largely found them having alot of user problems.

Another thing I noticed was that there was alot of Elitism ( dA is notorious for it ) and the thought that if you drew or did work like one popular artist you will be popular by default sort of thing. That really turned me off because there is sooo much Anime on there and it all looks the same , save a few artists that put thier own twists on it. There were also alot of famous artist copiers. It was really out of hand , so I ended up leaving because it started to make me feel bad about my own art , because people have always stated that it was unique and that I have my own style and it was easy to pick out. I don't know still to this day if that is a good or bad thing , but there is no changing it.

I've kept to posting strictly to my journal and sketchblog for the most part , outside of published work , I don't put anything on the net. I've only been here a couple of days , but I have a better taste in my mouth then I did with dA when I first joined. I've gotten some really nice welcomes and have already seen work that caught my eye ( mainly in Traditional art ) and made me look at it.

So all in all , I'm glad I joined. I'm not exactly sure how I got invited , or by who for that matter. I'm glad I joined. It will be nice to be a part of a productive art community for once.

Hmm , what else? I *think* I've gotten the hang of the customization setup and whatnot. I like the control you have over the page for the most part. It's a nice change from alot of gallery based sites. I'm still working on mine , and I hope to clean it up. I wish Sony would officially release gamercards , and I wish MS would make one that wasn't butt ugly , but you can't have everything in life right?

Anyways , Hi everyone , here's to hopefully a long relationship.

New Here

New here. Seems like an alright site. I've been generally put off my art forums for the last few years since I can't seem to find one that isn't riddled with Drama. Since this is new , I hope it doesn't travel down that dusty road. At any rate , Hopefully this is a productive community I can find myself being a part of.
